Our WHY

Lung Cancer Awareness

Despite lung cancer being so common, it rarely gets much attention. Even the ribbon representing lung cancer is white or clear, as a symbol of how lung cancer is often silent and invisible, until it is advanced. Part of the reason may be that there is a lot of guilt and stigma associated with lung cancer. Nobody deserves lung cancer. Nobody. We need to create a community around lung cancer so that nobody feels alone, judged, guilty or ashamed!

Lung cancer awareness month is in November, but we really need to talk and think about lung cancer all year long!
